Parenting Coordination

Parenting Coordination Supporting Families with Structure, Stability, and Child-Focused Conflict Resolution
At Vollmer Law Group, parenting coordination is offered as a structured, child-centered service for families navigating high-conflict co-parenting dynamics. Whether court-ordered or agreed to by the parties, parenting coordination helps reduce disputes, support the implementation of parenting time orders, and reduce the need for repeated court involvement.
Parenting coordinators are appointed by court order, typically for a defined term. At Vollmer Law Group, we offer parenting coordination services on a flat fee basis of $5,000 per year, with the option to renew annually upon court order or party agreement.
Our Team
Parenting coordination services are provided by a multidisciplinary team with extensive experience in family law, mental health, and conflict resolution:
Angeline R. Vollmer, LCSW, Esq. – A family law attorney and licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience in high-conflict custody litigation, trauma-informed practice, and court-involved family work.
Jeff Vollmer, MA, LMHC – A licensed mental health counselor with a background in family systems, communication coaching, and co-parenting support.
Dorian Laumann, MA, LMHC – A licensed mental health counselor with experience in high-conflict parenting matters, court-involved family work, and parenting plan implementation.
Together, our team offers families a balanced and neutral approach that blends legal knowledge, therapeutic insight, and practical conflict management.
What Parenting Coordination Offers
Parenting coordination is not therapy and does not replace legal counsel. It is a neutral service that helps parents resolve disputes, clarify existing court orders, and create more stability for their children.
Services may include:

-
Clarifying parenting time schedules and decision-making roles
-
Reducing miscommunication and repeated disputes
-
Addressing day-to-day parenting disagreements
-
Coordinating with schools, therapists, or other professionals
-
Providing written recommendations when parties reach an impasse
-
Supporting long-term implementation of parenting plans
Flat Fee Structure
Parenting coordination is provided at a flat fee of $5,000 per year, payable in advance. The fee covers all services during the one-year appointment period. Annual renewal may be requested by court order or mutual agreement.
The flat fee includes:

-
Joint and individual parent meetings
-
Review of court orders and relevant filings
-
Written summaries or recommendations as needed
-
Coordination with external professionals (teachers, therapists, etc.)
-
Communication via phone, email, or virtual meetings
-
Preparation of documentation and status updates as appropriate

This structure allows families and referring courts to access consistent, high-quality parenting coordination services without the uncertainty of hourly billing.

Who Can Benefit
Parenting coordination may be appropriate when:

-
Parents struggle to follow or interpret the parenting plan
-
Routine transitions or scheduling consistently lead to conflict
-
Children are showing signs of stress due to ongoing parental disputes
-
There is a history of post-decree litigation or order enforcement
-
The court or parties are seeking a neutral professional to assist in reducing conflict
